Neighborhood revitalization and infill development

Since 2012, Charney Properties and its related companies have been immersed in neighborhood revitalization efforts throughout the City of Tulsa with a focus on inclusive economic development. The infill development business has evolved over the years and includes the acquisition and rehabilitation of old housing stock, forging affordable housing partnerships, working with municipal boards and authorities, and collaborating with non-profits, foundations, universities, and other community stakeholders.

Multi-family

Charney Properties is leading the mixed-use redevelopment of the historic Safeway Warehouse, which includes approximately 130 units of multi-family housing and additional commercial space. Located at 320 North Detroit Avenue, the development sits squarely at the intersection of the historic Greenwood District and the burgeoning Tulsa Arts District. In addition to the Safeway project, the Charney Properties team advises local institutions on large-scale downtown development efforts.
